Learn How To Host a Challenge Lobby MW2(modern-warfare-2)

At this point the followings steps are essential to host a challenge lobby, so you must do it accurately and not skip any of them.

Here is What you Require to Host a Challenge Lobby:

Your PS3 must be running on the current firmware.
Your PS3 must be Jailbroken (Learn How to Jailbreak your PS3 safely)
Connect your PS3 to the Internet
The Backup Manager must be installed already (You get this with the Jailbreak)
The PS3 FTP Server must installed already
Have FileZilla already configured to connect to your PS3 at the time to start taking the steps.

-Plug your USB drive into your PS3
-Scroll over to “Settings”
-Press X on “System update” and then press X on “Update via storage device” Go through the process and let it install.
-When it’s finished your PS3 should beep a few times and shut itself off. When it does simply turn it back on. You should have a new option under the “Game” menu called “Install Package Files” This is what installing the custom firmware gave us.

Next you’re going to want to download Comengies Awesome File Manager here:

Plug your USB drive back into your PC and put this new file into the root of it.
Now…

-Plug your USB drive back into your PS3 and hit X on the new option “Install Package Files” under the “Game” menu. You should see the program you just put on your USB drive. Press X on it to install it.
-Once it’s finished back out into the “Game” menu again and press X on the new program you installed.(Download PS3 patch Here)

Your almost done in your Challenge Lobby Quest.
Now…

-Get a patch that you want and copy it to the root of your USB drive from your PC.
-Now scroll to “dev_hdd0″ on the left hand side and press X. Then scroll to “GAME” within this folder. In here is your games installed onto your system, Modern Warfare 2 is BLUS30377 for my region.

(It will vary for yours so go get your case and see what you have. It’s located on the spine of the case.)

-Scroll to your desired game and select it. For CoD you want to go into the folder “USRDIR”
-When you’re in the “USDIR” folder go down to “patch_mp.ff”. Don’t hit anything just keep the cursor next to it.

-Once in here scroll across the right to the other side.
-Press X on “dev_usbxxx”, this is your USB drive, next scroll to the “patch_mp.ff” that you copied and press R2 to move it over to your PS3 to the correct folder on the left.
